Confidence Building Inspections Limited
Residential Property Inspections

About Us

 “ensuring a safe and healthy living environment for you and your family”

 We undertake building inspections across Tauranga and the greater Bay of Plenty and Waikato areas.

We are a family operated business, based in Tauranga in the beautiful Bay of Plenty - we love houses, and want to make sure you love yours! Coming from a background in construction, we have also built and renovated our own homes, and want to see others get the most from one of their biggest investments.

Two inspectors will visit the site - this means it is less likely some aspect may be overlooked, and we can more efficiently undertake the inspection for your convenience - all for the same price as one inspector!

When you get an inspection from Confidence Building Inspections, you'll get:

  • a qualified and experienced building surveyor to inspect the house in detail, and a second assistant inspector to ensure nothing is missed;
  • independent and unbiased assessment of the quality and condition of the building;
  • non-invasive moisture testing on areas prone to damage backed up by thermal imaging where required, and electrical testing;
  • a comprehensive written report with detailed photos, maintenance tips, and advice on what needs to be done or other trades which may be required;
  • Certificate of Inspection;
  • peace of mind from insurance coverage;
  • telephone or email access to our inspector if you have further queries or concerns after the building inspection
